FAQs

LASHES

How should I prepare for my appointment?

If you are a new or existing client, it is important that you come to each appointment with a freshly washed eye area and no makeup. Please make sure to use an oil-free face wash before the appointment.

Is there anything I should avoid with lash extensions?

Avoid getting your lashes wet for 24 hours after every fill or full set. Be sure to avoid any oil products including moisturizer, makeup or face wash on or near your lashes. Avoid makeup wipes as they tend to tug on your lash area. You are welcome to wear eye makeup, just make sure to use non-waterproof products.

How should I care for my lash extensions to ensure they last?

Daily washing with BLashes foaming lash cleanser is recommended daily. It is recommended to not sleep directly on your lashes and the use of a silk pillow case will prolong the life of your extensions.

How often should I get a fill?

Every 3-4 weeks. You should have anywhere between 30-50% of your extensions remaining to qualify for a fill, any less may result in extra charges.

I'm running late, what should I do?

Please make sure to call or text me as soon as possible. If you arrive 15 minutes or more late, we may need to reschedule.

LIFT & TINT / LAMINATION

How should I care for my lash or brow lamination?

Avoid getting the laminated area wet for 24 hours after your appointment. Brush the area daily to ensure each hair is neatly organized. You are welcome to use mascara or brow gel 24 hours after your service.

How often should I get a lamination ?

Laminations will last anywhere from 6-12 weeks. You want to make sure your lift or lamination is 90% gone before coming back for another. Every client has a  different shed cycle, most people find 8-10 weeks to be their sweet spot.

FACIALS

How often should I get a hydrofacial?

For best results, a monthly facial is recommended. Monthly facials increase blood flow to the skin tissue and promote rapid skin turn over rates. Leaving your skin plump, decongested and sculpted. Studies have shown, frequent facials can help reduce the risk of skin cancer and sun damage.

How to prepare for Hydrofacial?

The first thing you need to know before a HydraFacial is to stop using Isotretinoin products such as Accutane for at least six months before your treatment. These medications alter your skin chemistry and can interact poorly with your treatment. However, using these items is okay if a clinician has given you clearance. Additionally, avoid tanning beds for at least 72 hours before the treatment.

Hydrofacial aftercare?

Limit sun exposure, and don’t use tanning beds for at least 72 hours after your treatment. You should take lukewarm showers, avoid saunas, and stay away from intense cardio or weight training. In addition to limiting exercise and sun exposure, don’t use generic tretinoins, exfoliating treatments, over-the-counter acne medication, wax, or depilatories for at least 48 hours. Likewise, you should avoid chemical peels or laser treatments for at least two weeks. You should also wait at least 1 day before applying makeup. Stick to using a moderate amount of makeup
